Otis Scott Joins Prestige Maintenance USA as Vice President of Human Resources


IMG_1030Prestige Maintenance USA (PMUSA) is pleased to announce the addition of Otis Scott as Vice President of Human Resources. Scott, who officially steps into his role on Jan. 7, 2019, brings with him a far-reaching background in the retail segment and a proven track record for developing and implementing best practices.

 “One of the things that resonated with me the most is Prestige’s emphasis on people,” said Scott, who most recently was Regional Human Resource Director for Wal-Mart Inc.

“I like what Prestige stands for, and the fact that they recognize that people are their greatest asset.”

During his 11-year tenure with Wal-Mart, Scott received the Human Resources Manager of the Year award and was recognized by St. Louis American, Missouri’s largest weekly newspaper, for diversity leadership. His retail HR experience has also included Dollar Tree and Save-A-Lot.

Rachel Sanchez, PMUSA CEO, said that Scott’s ability to create work environments that attract and retain top-notch talent was part of what led to his hiring.

“With Otis’ experience and leadership, we are truly looking forward to strengthening our organization,” she said. “He is a tremendous asset to our team.”

Scott said he is looking forward to the opportunities at PMUSA and is excited about the positive changes he sees taking place.

“They are working at growing and getting better and better,” he said. “I think my experience will allow me to prevent them from going through some of the growing pains I’ve seen in my previous jobs and help them continue on a path of growth.”

When he isn’t working, Scott enjoys cooking and traveling, both domestically and abroad. He is involved in his church, enjoys singing and was choir director at his previous church in St. Louis. Scott is the father of a son and daughter, both of whom are in college.
