(DALLAS - February 11, 2014) - Prestige Maintenance USA is proud to announce that the Women's Business Council - Southwest (WBCS) awarded the company with its prestigious Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) of the Year for companies earning more than $5 million in revenue. Chief Executive Officer Rachel Sanchez accepted the award during the WBCS Parade of Stars Gala, Friday, February 7, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.

The awards recognize WBCS members who go above and beyond to ensure the successes of women-owned businesses by supporting women in business through advocacy, volunteerism and sponsorships.

"I am honored that WBCS selected PMUSA to receive this award," said Sanchez, who was also nominated for the organization's WBE Advocate of the Year award. "The caliber of our fellow nominees was top-notch, and to be celebrated among this group of women who are at the helm of some of the Southwest's strongest companies is amazing."

PMUSA incorporates many practices into its operations to ensure the highest value to its customers. One of these is the CleanTelligent program, which supports work-order processing and quality-audit completion. CleanTelligent integrates with a customer's existing work order systems via the redirection of work-order e-mails to the responsible field manager for completion. PMUSA can also provide access to CleanTelligent as a customer's work-order platform. The system also allows for custom questions, surveys, and reporting to monitor trends and process improvement over time.

In addition, the company establishes partnerships with clients that have similar values. For instance, PMUSA launched a supplier-diversity initiative in 2012. In 2013, PMUSA surpassed their spend goals with WBE's and Minority Business Enterprises. In 2014, PMUSA expects to achieve their company goal once again by continuing to work with strong diverse suppliers as well as develop partnerships with other diverse businesses.

"Recognizing outstanding business practices and advocacy are important aspects of our mission at the WBCS," said WBCS President Debbie Hurst. "The Gala is the perfect venue for celebrating our members who are the best and brightest in the business landscape."

Joining Sanchez at the Parade of Stars Gala were her parents and PMUSA founders Marie and Alex Dinverno; Christi Farrow, Executive Director of Administration; Caleb Chandler, Director of Sourcing and Asset Management; Bruce Coleman, Accounting Manager; Norma Sydnor, Customer Excellence Manager; and Corbin Bahcall, Communications and Marketing Specialist.
